The Coach Lane Sports Centre is part of the University`s extensive Coach Lane campus. It is home to the Coach Lane Health & Fitness Centre, has a multi activity sports hall, an exercise/martial arts studio, multiple grass football pitches, latest 3rd Generation Rubber Crumb football pitch and an artificial turf pitch that is used mainly for hockey and football.

Team Northumbria student members also receive concessions on the price of a number of non-University facilities including swimming pools in the city centre, Jesmond and the East End.
