The City Campus Sports Centre and the nearby Sports Hall in the University`s Lipman building offer a two-court provision for basketball, netball, five-a-side football, volleyball, table tennis, exercise classes and many more sports from Archery to Ultimate Frisbee.

The impressive City Health & Fitness Centre based at the Sports Centre was totally re-equipped in 2003 and now offers industry leading equipment, many with personal TV screens. An additional specialist fitness conditioning facility and three squash courts complete the provision at the City Sports Centre.

Team Northumbria student members also receive concessions on the price of a number of non-University facilities including swimming pools in the city centre, Jesmond and the east end.
