The Team Northumbria Media Team was established in 2006 by Times and Daily Star journalist, and former Journal Chief Sports Writer, Simon Rushworth.

Pulling together everything that is positive about sport at Northumbria University, Simon's dedicated team of would-be journalists and keen writers cover everything from Super League netball, to Premier League football, BUCS action and intra-mural events.
